These ruby crystals are complete, 'terminated', that is, with the tip unbroken. Some have both tips unbroken, and are therefore called 'double-terminated'.
These ruby (corundum) crystals come from Mauritania, (Tiris Zemmour region), about 100 km northeast of the town of Zouerate.
All photos were taken in natural daylight. For some of them I placed the rubies on a light source, the flashlight from my mobile phone, or a lamp.
I photographed these gems as honestly and accurately as possible using daylight. Please note that differences in screen settings and ambient lighting can result in variations in color, saturation, and perceived tone.
The rubies you will receive are, of course, the ones shown in the photos.
I ship quickly, securely and discreetly in a rigid C5 envelope (162mm x 229mm) via registered mail with La Poste (France).
