Description from the seller
Lot consisting of 2 precious globes made with lapis lazuli inlay and other natural semi-precious stones.
Sturdy metal framework in gilt brass.
Largest globe with base: about 20 cm tall by 19 cm in diameter, weight about 1 kg.
Smallest globe with base: about 14 cm tall by 11 cm in diameter, weight about 0.36 kg.
Each country has been inlaid with a different natural stone (where possible, the stone was chosen for its origin from that country); a testament to Italian craftsmanship and artistry!
Spectacular objects to own absolutely, essential for enlivening and adding a touch of elegance and refinement to your home!
Excellent decorative elements for a grand living room or an elegant study!
They will attract the attention of all your guests.
In good condition, they show few signs from past use;
Note: the metal framework is slightly scratched and in some areas discolored (please refer to the photos for more details on the item's condition).
Note: on the larger globe there is a circular section that probably once housed a compass, now absent.
Note: the wine bottle is shown for demonstrative purposes only, it is not sold with this lot and will not be shipped.
Photos are an integral part of the description.
Note: the original colors may appear slightly different from the photos due to the different ways colors are displayed on different monitors or screens used.
The item will be carefully packaged to protect it during shipping (the packaging will have substantial dimensions and weight – shipping costs have been calculated based on these criteria).
Please check the shipping prices before proceeding with offers; these prices are set as flat estimates based on the estimated future shipping cost and packaging cost. By making an offer you agree to accept the shipping costs as stated in the listing.
Note: in the event that the shipping cost ends up higher than the quoted amount, we reserve the right to request payment of the price difference in order to ship.
