Candleholder - Copper - Dutch knot candle holder

This is a Dutch knop candlestick, a large model and most likely from the 17th century. Material: yellow copper or gilded bronze. For its age it is in superbly beautiful condition, and very heavy. The hole on the underside, I think that was made by someone at a later date with the idea of turning it into a lamp. Apart from that, no defects.
