This Olympia Traveler de Luxe, produced in the 1970s, is a compact and durable portable typewriter praised for its precision, reliability, and timeless modernist design — Designed with the quality of German craftsmanship, it is made to accompany writers and students on the go: light enough to travel with, yet sturdy enough to last a lifetime. The bright orange housing adds a cheerful touch to a very practical, user-friendly machine.
The machine features a QWERTY keyboard layout (Dutch), with four accent marks: acute (´), grave (`), diaeresis (¨), and circumflex (^). This allows you to type accented characters, such as á, è, ü, â. See the keyboard photo for other special characters. NOTE: keyboard has a separate key for the letter IJ.
This typewriter is in very good condition, nearly like new — Please look carefully at the photos. All keys, margins, line spacing, and ribbon functions operate correctly — The original carrying case is included —
