Singer industrial cast-iron sewing machine stool with a leather seat, height 49 cm and diameter 30 cm, brown and purple, weight about 9.8 kg, in good condition with minor signs of aging and spots.
Description from the seller
In good antique condition, a very unique industrial cast-iron Singer sewing machine stool with a leather seat, and can be height-adjusted a little. We have not yet come across this model online, and we think it was produced in the period of the 1920s/30s or perhaps even older, since Singer has existed since 1850. The first Singer stool came out in 1910.
The largest Singer factories are located in the United States of America (Nashville, Tennessee) and in Kilbowie Clydebank, Scotland since 1885. This factory became one of the largest sewing machine factories in the world but unfortunately went bankrupt in 1980 as a result of increasing competition.
Note: Scratches, spots, patina/corrosion formation and damage to the leather seat. Please carefully view all photos before you bid.
Dimensions: Height 49 cm x Diameter 30 cm.
Weight: approx. 9.8 kg, excluding packaging materials.
Note:
* Condition in line with age and use, with the usual signs of wear.
* Look carefully at the photos for an accurate view of the offered item and its exact condition.
* You buy the item in the condition shown in the photos and sizes as stated in the description.
* Subject to typing errors.
* If you encounter problems after purchase, please always contact the seller first before leaving negative feedback, so that a solution can be found together. There is always a way to resolve it.
- Your item will be carefully packaged and well insured for shipping via PostNL Packages or another parcel carrier, within and outside the Netherlands.
- Shipping to EU countries outside the mainland (such as the Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, Sicily, Corsica, Madeira, French Guiana) should be checked in advance.
