Historical collection of Russian banknotes and monetary issues from the Revolution and Civil War period of 1917–1920.
The lot includes banknotes and monetary emissions from different administrations and transitional monetary systems of early 20th century Russia.
The collection contains:
* large denomination state credit notes;
* Provisional Government issues;
* regional and calculation issues from the Civil War period;
* early Soviet monetary and calculation notes.
The collection visually and historically reflects the complex transition period following the collapse of the Russian Empire and the formation of a new monetary system.
Condition varies from good collectible condition to heavily circulated. Folds, stains, tears, handling traces and signs of age or storage may be present. Please examine the photographs carefully for your own assessment of condition.
