Nikon D3100 — DX-Format Digital SLR (Body Only)

We provide high-quality cameras and lenses to the world.
The Nikon D3100, announced in 2010, was Nikon's entry-level DX-format digital SLR and the successor to the D3000. It is built around a 14.2-megapixel DX CMOS sensor and Nikon's EXPEED 2 image processor, and it was the first Nikon DSLR to offer Full HD 1080p video recording with full-time autofocus. Other features include an 11-point autofocus system, ISO 100-3200 (expandable to 12800), Live View, and Nikon's beginner-friendly Guide Mode. Compact, lightweight and easy to use, the D3100 remains a practical and affordable entry point into the Nikon F-mount system.
Lens compatibility: this is a Nikon F-mount (DX) body. The D3100 does not have a built-in autofocus motor, so autofocus is available with AF-S type lenses, which have their own focus motor. Older screw-drive AF lenses can be mounted and used with manual focus and the electronic rangefinder. Please note that the camera is not compatible with the newer AF-P lenses.
