Description from the seller
Welcome to certainly one of the highlights this year at Catawiki, regarding "signed art books"; originating, on the one hand, from the estate of Karl Geyer! An art collector from Jülich, who in almost 75 years collected about 100,000 drawings, autographs, art books and objects, and who befriended many artists, such as Gerhard Richter, Otto Piene, Janosch, Günther Uecker and many others!
On the other hand from my private collection, which I was able to assemble over many years.
In this auction there will be 100 signed and partly even painted art and photo books by international artists offered, such as
- Gerhard Richter
- David Hockney
- Ellsworth Kelly
- Georg Baselitz
- Cornelia Schleime
- Wolfgang Tillmans
- Martin Eder
- Andreas Gursky
- Bridget Riley
- Wolfgang Mattheuer
- Bernhard Heisig
- Thomas Ruff
- Bernard Aubertin
- Anselm Kiefer
- Gunther Sachs
- Richard Long
and many more, with a starting minimum price of Euro 100.00.
Do not miss this extraordinary opportunity to acquire signed books by artists, some of whom are already deceased and possess legendary status!
Here we offer:
