Stunning ancient seal of a princely house of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, belonging to two noble families who united by marriage. 18th century. Bronze matrix masterfully engraved, handle/knob in boxwood turned, contemporary to the matrix. Beautiful patina of age, not cleaned, not polished. Excellent condition as shown in the photo.
