Dengese - DR Congo (No reserve price)

To the north of the Kingdom of Kuba, located in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, across the Sankuru River, the 12,000 Dengese consider themselves the indigenous people of the region. Their king, called etoshi, rules over local chiefs assisted by nobles. Influential groups, such as blacksmiths, hunters, and healers, counterbalance the political power of the chiefs.
