The item up for auction is the legendary analog tabletop radio Tivoli Audio Model One, designed by the icon of the audio world – Henry Kloss. The device is technically 100 percent functional, so everything works beautifully, and the knobs operate smoothly without any crackling. The sound of this compact receiver is truly impressive, delivering an extremely deep, clean, and warm tone, and its powerful volume ability means the radio can easily fill a large living room. Visually, the equipment is in very good condition, and the only sign of use is one of the knobs, which had been resealed. This element functions correctly, is stable, and this small adjustment has no impact whatsoever on functionality, ease of use, or the overall design of the device. Visually the radio looks superb and would perfectly adorn any interior, from a classic living room to a modern office. The heart of the device is a very sensitive analog AM/FM tuner with a 5:1 tuning ratio, which facilitates precise station location and allows for effortless reception of even weak frequencies in areas with difficult signal. The remarkable acoustic impression comes from a 3-inch full-range driver with a large membrane excursion and a heavy magnet, along with a special frequency contouring system that automatically tunes the audio signal. All of this is housed in a handmade wooden cabinet with acoustically neutral properties and a bass-reflex tunnel, functioning like a professional loudspeaker and eliminating distortions. The radio offers great versatility thanks to a rich set of connectors, including a mini-jack AUX input for connecting a phone or external Bluetooth adapter, a headphone output, a REC OUT line output, and an external FM antenna jack. The device has a built-in mains transformer but can also be powered by 12V DC, which makes it portable for camping. The compact dimensions are approximately 21 cm wide, 11.5 cm high, and 13.5 cm deep, weighing about 1.8 kg. The absence of complex digital electronics ensures reliability and straightforward operation, and the entire system is controlled by only three intuitive knobs.
