The square geometric design combines shiny gold plating with refined cylindrical inserts in burgundy enamel/glass, an iconic Maison color replicated also in the large Roman numerals that decorate the frame. The lower gilded flap folds perfectly with a snap onto the dial, serving both as a protective cover for transport and as a solid base for resting.
