Detailed description of the lot
For sale is an expanded and rare Märklin Sprint slot-car racing set, an absolute classic among premium toys of the 1960s/1970s.
Compared with the standard set, this lot offers collectors a superb opportunity, as it includes numerous additional rails and expansion accessories in the red original cardboard boxes.
The entire system has been fully assembled and tested: the electrical components, the transformer, and the car motors run flawlessly and provide excellent power continuity along the entire track length (about 5 meters).

Vehicles (Original cars):
1x Porsche Carrera 6 (White with red stripes, No. 18) – Coupe model.
1x Lola T70 / sports car open (Orange, No. 17) – Open-top model.
> Both vehicles are complete, with the original driver figures at the wheel, and the power pickups are in good condition.
Track components (Total 52 track pieces):
Straight track sections (various lengths, including add-ons 1201, 1202, 1205).
Curved track sections (including the 45° curve set No. 1241).
2x turnout/rail-change tracks (No. 1217, track change) – the ideal accessory for spectacular duels.
Accessories and electronics:
1x Original Märklin Transformer 6930 (blue housing, robust and safe).
2x Original controllers / throttle (classic wired hand controllers in gray and red).
1x Mechanical lap counter (No. 1545) – used as a decorative bridge over the track.
6x bridge pillars / supports for overpass (No. 1542) – enable multi-level track layouts in an eight-shape layout (8).
2x guard rails / safety fences for the curves.
Condition:
All elements are in good preserved condition, with no brittle plastic or notable cracks.
The red original boxes show age-related wear (over 50 years old), but are structurally stable and have intact clasps.
The large base box contains the original white Styrofoam insert for protection.
