The Bowers & Wilkins DM 302 (Prism) is a legendary bookshelf speaker that won several awards in the late 1990s, including the EISA award. The most unique feature of this model is the Prism technology on the inside of the rear panel: a pattern of wedge-shaped protrusions that eliminate internal resonances and standing waves, similar to the acoustic insulation in an anechoic chamber. This provides unprecedented openness.
