Michelin, Bibendum, two plastic Bibendum figures, one standing about 30 cm tall and one seated about 20 cm tall on a metal stand, in good used condition with small signs of aging and spots, originating from France and dating to ca. 1970–1980.

These two plastic Michelin Bibendum figures have traveled for years with a professional driver on European roads. The general public knows them as the 'Michelin man', the chubby figure that has represented the MICHELIN brand since 1898. Although his real name is Bibendum, or more commonly 'Bib'. These famous Michelin figurines were chosen as the 'Icon of the Millennium' and are built from car tires. Bibendum was first designed in 1898 and has been the emblem of Michelin since its birth, for 120 years, contributing to Michelin's success as the global leader in the tire sector.
Here we have one standing Bibendum about 30 cm tall and one sitting about 20 cm tall on a metal stand. Both are roughly 50 years old and show some signs of wear, but they are genuine collectors' items for enthusiasts.
