Description from the seller
Very Ancient Tibetan Dzi Bead from Thailand - Buddhist Temple Wat Phra Kaew - Bead
To be worn as a pendant or as a great protective talisman.
Very ancient 9-eye Tibetan Dzi bead, acquired from a private collection of the world's largest bead collector, Mr. Zelnik. It is believed that this bead dates to the year 1400. (Unfortunately I cannot confirm that statement due to the high appraisal price of it). Judge for yourself the beads horseshoe-shaped markings and the beautiful patina it has, which only comes with the passing of years.
According to ancient Buddhist monks, the 9-Eye bead is the King of all Dzi; it is the most revered bead among Buddhist monks. It is believed that this type of bead attracts health and well-being to the wearer and forms a strong shield against bad energies and demonic spirits.
Wooden display stand: The wooden display stand is not included in the price; it is used only to take better photos of the bead.
Shipping: Shipped with a protective padded box so that it reaches the recipient in perfect condition.
