Elegant antique French Étagère from the Napoleonic III period, made of wood with floral inlays and black-ebonized legs. This piece dates from the second half of the 19th century (circa 1860–1880), typical of the Napoleonic III or Louis XV style. It is constructed of precious woods such as bois de rose, palissander (rosewood) or walnut, characterized by ebonized legs (black-dyed) and refined bronze or brass decorations. The furniture features three shaped shelves with elaborate floral inlays and a pierced brass edging on the top shelf.
