1912 archive lot from Sidecar e Amilcar cabriolet, in excellent condition with autograph, consisting of four original items including a signed 1912 photo card of Ito Mancini and related documents.
Description from the seller
Incredible archival lot belonging to Ito Mancini, a pioneer of Abruzzo motoring and an excellent musician and composer of the era.
The lot offers rare and coherent documentation of the birth of Italian motorization.
The lot includes:
- rare photo-postcard (1912) depicting Ito Mancini at the helm of his sidecar.
The postcard is signed, properly stamped and postmarked with a dated postal mark October 11, 1912 and has traveled.
- two unpublished photographs from the period showing him aboard his Amilcar cabriolet.
- historic driving license. Original document/photo ID with signature and stamp. On the back, although deteriorated, the reference to the Law of June 30, 1912 is clearly legible, the first national regulation on mechanical circulation. An extremely rare documentary piece.
- photo-postcard together with his wife;
- original unpublished musical score, handwritten on thick staff paper. Music composed by him in the 1920s.
This is a certified biographical archive of a clearly identified and well-known figure.
