Description from the seller
Minolta AF Zoom 70-210mm 1:4 (32)
For sale is the legendary telephoto zoom lens from Minolta, widely known in collector and photography circles as the “Beercan” or “Pipe” (Ofenrohr). It is famous for its solid metal construction, the constant maximum aperture of f/4, and the beautiful, soft bokeh.
The lens uses the Minolta A-mount and fits perfectly on analog Minolta Dynax SLRs as well as on digital Sony Alpha DSLRs with the A-mount (or with an adapter to modern mirrorless systems).
Focal length: 70–210 mm
Aperture: Constant f/4 (smallest aperture: 32)
Filter diameter: 55 mm
Build: Robust metal housing
Special feature: Integrated macro mode at 210 mm
Optics & mechanics: The autofocus and zoom ring operate smoothly. The aperture blades are clean and not oiled.
Optical flaw: The small plastic view window of the distance scale has a scratch (see detail photos). This is purely cosmetic and has absolutely no impact on function or image quality.
