Set of 6 wine glasses in 31% lead crystal (the purest crystal in the world) mouth-blown with free-blown technique and deep manual grinding with diamond-cut. The height measurements are not all the same (see photo), part of a height of 17.8 cm with a diameter of 8.2 cm, and then shorter. Exceptional and exclusive artisanal execution from the world’s oldest crystal house, Saint Louis, established 1586. Designed in 1928, the Tommy service made a magnificent impression in 1938 during an exceptional luncheon at Versailles: Elizabeth. From its star-shaped base to its parison adorned with a beveled diamond-cut, Tommy reflects all the dexterity of Saint Louis glassmakers. Made in France, each piece bears an acid-etched mark under the foot and is marked beyond the St Louis mark, the 225th anniversary of its birth. Condition: Active. Current: 1987.
