A complete set of 12 original Art Déco knife rests, produced by *René Broquet Paris* for the famous “Les Animaux Modernes” series, c.1925-1935. Designed in the style of Marcel Sandoz.
*Details:*
- *Quantity*: 12 pieces, 6 animal motifs each duplicated: Dachshund, Schnauzer, Greyhound, Pheasant, Hare, Duck
- *Material*: Silver-plated bronze, chased and finely detailed
- *Marks*: Maker’s mark *RB with two stars* for René Broquet Paris, and material mark *BRONZE* on the underside of each piece
- *Condition*: Very good for age. Original patina preserved, silver plating intact, no breaks or repairs
- *Box*: Original fitted case with crocodile-pattern exterior and gold-stamped “Les Animaux Modernes – Porte Couteaux Bronze Véritable”
