Powder box with mirror in 800 silver, enameled and engraved - 19th Century
Elegant powder box (compact) in 800 silver, of fine workmanship, probably of Italian origin or continental European.

The piece has a rectangular shape with rounded corners and a slightly curved profile. The lid is embellished with a refined blue enamel border that frames the perimeter, enriched by a delicate decoration of scrolls, acanthus leaves, and sprigs in hand-engraved and pierced silver. In the center remains a smooth oval area, ideal for a monogram or a personalized engraving (currently not engraved).
Inside, the box opens thanks to a functional hinge, revealing:
• A rectangular mirror with rounded corners, well preserved and reflecting clearly.
• A powder compartment equipped with an original metal mesh sieve and a fabric fastener.
• Complete with a powder puff in a pale blue color (typical of the era).

Excellent overall condition. The silver presents a beautiful uniform antique patina, with slight signs of wear consistent with the object's age. The enamel blue is intact and bright in most parts, with minimal signs of use visible only on very close inspection. Mirror clear and functional. Hinge solid.
