Angelo - Indian handcarved folding teak circular side table in Art Deco style, 29 cm diameter and 32 cm high, with a cross‑leg folding base, pierced openwork and central foliate inlay, dating to c. 1940–1950 and in good used condition.

This is a vintage circular side table. An Anglo-Indian, teak plant or wine table with Colonial Art Deco taste, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1940.

Rich caramel hues beneath a wax polish finish
Circular topped with rolled edge and quality flowerhead detail to the circumference
Central medallion with foliate bone inlay

This is a charming vintage circular side table, with an enthusiastically carved appearance. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for youre home.
The table has a folding cross-leg base with carved openwork panels. It can be used as a small side table, plant stand, decorative occasional table or display piece.
The piece has an attractive warm wood colour and detailed craftsmanship, especially in the carved floral top and the pierced carved base.
Condition
Used condition with visible signs of age and wear. There is damage to the outer rim of the tabletop and some losses/damage to the inlaid centre decoration. There are also small marks, scratches and wear to the wood, consistent with age and use. Please study the photos carefully as they form an important part of the description.
