18th century Chinese monochrome purple-glazed JUN ware porcelain tripod narcissus bowl

A fine Chinese JUN ware monochrome purple-glazed porcelain tripod narcissus basin, dating to the 18th century.

Imitating the Song Dynasty original, raised on three short shaped feet, the exterior decorated with two bands of studs and raised on three ruyi-head shaped feet, all decorated with an intense speckled purplish glazee.

Provenance:
From the collection of David Stopher, England; Bonhams, London, Knightsbridge, November 2007, lot 133.

Diameter: 25.5 cm x Height: 10 cm

Condition:
In excellent condition, with only two flat chips to the feet and very minor firing flaws.
