This elegant Portuguese .835 silver wedding ring dish (also called prato de alianças, porta alianças or aneleira) is a traditional and highly symbolic piece used during Portuguese wedding ceremonies to present the wedding rings.

The centre features a finely detailed relief of two clasped hands surrounded by roses and the iconic banner with the motto “O AMOR TUDO VENCE” – “Love Conquers All”.

The wide border is richly decorated in classic rococo/baroque style with intricate scrolls, flowers and volutes, showcasing superb Portuguese silversmith craftsmanship.

Charming vintage Portuguese silver napkin ring decorated with a delightful relief scene of a small mouse pulling a decorated cart. The finely detailed motif is flanked by beautiful ornamental scrollwork on both sides, creating a playful and highly decorative piece.
