Object Description
For sale a splendid half-bust sculpture depicting a young boy with a hat, a typical subject of popular artisanal tradition (often identified as an "scugnizzo" or "shepherd boy"). The piece is signed on the front plaque with G. Visentin.
The bust is made of terracotta (or ceramic/composite material) with a refined multi-layer patination in bronze tones and antique green, giving the object a lived-in look and great aesthetic value.
