Description from the seller

2 x Beautiful Antique and Heavy Five-armed Candelabras in the style of the rich Neo-Rococo (Rococo Revival / Louis XV). From the Late 19th Century (circa 1880–1895).
In good, sturdy antique condition with normal signs of age and use.

Attention:
The feet show obvious casting defects of cast brass from copper and zinc (shrinkage/cracking) of the original production process. These are explicitly not breaks, damage, or cracks, but an authentic feature of the local hand-made sand-casting method.
Clearly recognizable by the rough, somewhat grainy texture on the hollow inner side of the foot.
This is not a later tight factory-machined replica.
The design breathes the French Louis XV (Louis Quinze) vocabulary. The asymmetrical, flowing C-scrolls, the leaf-shaped ornaments (acanthus leaves) and the wavy, organic arms are directly copied from the original French rococo designs from the 18th century.

The total weight is around 5 kg.
For a candle diameter of 2 cm.

Photos are part of the lot.
