Beautiful and highly decorative antique electric adding machine from the American brand Burroughs. This imposing office device was manufactured in the United States and dates from the early 20th century.
The unit still features its original metal base, glass viewing window, keyboard, and mechanical components. The typical industrial look with black lacquer, gold inscriptions and visible mechanics makes this piece particularly decorative for an interior, loft, office or a collection of industrial and technical objects.
Featuring various markings and serial numbers, including “Made in U.S.A.” and original Burroughs plaques. The device shows lovely authentic signs of use and patina appropriate to its age.
Not tested. Sold as decorative collectible.
