Description from the seller

Important specimen of fluorite from Pakistan, Balochistan region, composed of a rich aggregate of well-developed cubic crystals.

The piece stands out for its very compact and three-dimensional structure. The surfaces show a typical step-like growth, well visible especially in transmitted light, which highlights the internal geometries of the crystal.

In transmitted light, the fluorite reveals good translucency with cool tones tending toward gray-blue. In some areas, internal bands and growth zones can be observed that may recall the so-called “phantom” effect. The commercial term “Blue Phantom” is sometimes used for this type of fluorite, but it is not an official mineralogical classification: in this case it is more correct to speak of internal zoning and visible growth phases.
Some photos show the transparency of the crystals using a small LED flashlight.
The contrast between the lighter areas and those slightly darker creates visual depth and enhances the entire specimen. Some small natural inclusions and faint traces of matrix are present and contribute to the piece’s authenticity.

A visually striking specimen, suitable for both collectors and as an exhibition piece.

Origin: Pakistan, Balochistan
Weight: 5.747 kg
Dimensions: 23 x 18 x 12 cm
