Description from the seller
SwitchPilot 3 Plus decoders are optimized for stationary use on installations and can drive conventional double-coil turnout drives, light signals, magnetic uncoupling rails, incandescent lamps, or other stationary loads; an innovative operating concept consisting of a 4-line switch, illuminated OLED display, and three input buttons for operation.
Operating modes
The SwitchPilot 3 Plus is multi-protocol compatible and can be used with control units based on the Märklin/Motorola system, for example 6021 Central Station or Mobile Station, and with DCC-compatible controllers. The configuration can be performed on both the main track and the programming track. Thanks to RailCom, it is also possible to read CVS.
Functionality
The SwitchPilot 3 Plus can be powered directly from the digital system or from an external DC or AC power supply. It has a total of 16 transistor outputs, grouped into 8 output pairs 1 to 8. Each output pair contains two outputs OutA and OutB and can be configured individually for the desired application.
In pulse mode the output is activated as soon as a switch command is received. Because the output automatically deactivates after a time stored in the decoder has elapsed, it prevents magnet articles from burning out. In momentary operation, compatible with K83, the output remains active as long as the button on the control panel is pressed. This operating mode is suitable for turnout machines with limit switches or for uncoupling tracks.
In bistable continuous operation, compatible with K84, the two outputs alternate on and off. When you press the red button on the control panel, output Out A is activated. It remains active until the output Out B of the same button is pressed, green.
Output group is activated. Out A and Out B behave like a latching switch. In the alternating blinking mode, the outputs Out A and Out B of an output pair are alternately switched with an adjustable blinking frequency. The blinking starts with the command Right Green from the assigned button and stops again with the command Branching Red. Optionally, the output can also be slowly faded in and out, so-called zoom, for incandescent lamp simulation.
These two objects are new and unused, in original packaging.
