Slicer - Steel, Plastic

Meat slicer OMRE Quick Mill with an Italian “space age” design, featuring a squared steel trolley, a detail that places it at the end of the 1960s to the early 1970s.
The 1970s models introduced more colored ABS plastic and steel parts with more angular shapes.
The OMRE Quick Mill Type 0750 model was produced between the late 1960s and mid-1970s, about 1969–1975 (see plaque).
The fact that this specimen has:
• orange plastic body
• red lever switch
• squared stainless steel carriage
• 200W motor with service KB 6 min

places it more likely in the period 1970–1973 approx.
It is obviously functional and complete in all its parts. Unfortunately the knob to adjust the slice thickness had broken and was glued, but its function remained unchanged.
Excellent both for use and as a piece of mid-century modern design."
