Description from the seller
DESCRIPTION
The Technics SB-CS60 speakers belonged to a generation that in the early 1990s testified to the Japanese brand’s commitment to offering solutions balanced between technical innovation and domestic usability. It was a three-way system with three drivers, conceived to provide full and dynamic playback in an era when the Technics name stood out for its ability to combine build reliability with advanced acoustic research. The presence of accurate crossovers and the extended frequency response up to 25 kHz confirmed an engineering project aimed at giving breath and detail even to the highest frequencies, while maintaining depth and fullness in the bass registers.
The proposed specimen preserves the sober and functional aesthetic typical of Technics, with proportioned cabinets and linear finishes that underscore its technical and rigorous stance. The 18 cm cone woofer, paired with a 2.5 cm dome midrange and a dedicated tweeter, reflects the construction philosophy of a period when sound quality was the result of mechanically and material-wise carefully selected solutions. The 8-ohm impedance and the ability to handle up to 120 watts in music provided versatility in pairing with mid-range domestic amplifications.
