Box - Siena marble

A delightful Giallo Siena marble box, of bombé rectangular form with hinged lid, standing on four gilt bronze feet for a length of 14,8cm and weight of 1305g. A very decorative piece of veined marble was chosen for this precious box. The fluffy lining to the interior was added later.

Condition: Very good, thin chip to the underside of the lid at the right corner, no noticeable. No further significant damages or repairs. Minimal wear. Overall in a very presentable condition.
