Important hotel teapot or kettle in silvered metal from the Christofle house, in Art Nouveau style, resting on an elegant pierced stand with a decoration of botanical scrolls.
Rare model from the “Hôtel Lutetia” (marking visible on the body), probably made for the prestigious Parisian establishment at the beginning of the 20th century. Because at that time hotels had their silverware custom-made instead of buying overpriced coffee capsules. A bygone civilization.
Christofle hallmarks visible under the base and inventory numbers present.
Very fine quality of manufacture with a cord-wrapped, insulated handle and particularly elegant lines.
