Dutch mahogany sideboard with a superstructure in Empire/Biedermeier style, dating from 1850–1900, made in the Netherlands, 1 piece, 47 cm deep, 100 cm wide, 98 cm high, lockable, in fair condition.

Antique Dutch Mahogany Sideboard with Superstructure – Empire/Biedermeier Style, ca. 1830–1860
A Dutch sideboard with upper shelf, crafted in mahogany with flame mahogany veneer. The piece displays characteristic features of the Dutch Empire and Biedermeier tradition.
The superstructure features an open shelf with curved side supports and is finished with a dentil molding along the top and sides. The lower section consists of a drawer with its original green felt cutlery insert and two paneled doors enclosing an interior shelf. The fluted pilasters and carved corner rosettes on the doors are typical of the period style. The brass ring handles are original and complete.
