Miniature silver box decorated with cherubs – Francisco Vera, Madrid – 20th century
Elegant miniature silver box finely worked, decorated with a rich ornamental composition inspired by neobaroque and rococo, with abundant vegetal scrolls, floral elements and central scenes with winged cherub figures, executed with great detail and depth.
The piece features a refined artisanal workmanship typical of Spanish decorative miniatures. It is attributed to the renowned Madrid master Francisco Vera, a specialist in animal sculptures, boxes and silver miniatures, whose works stand out for their decorative richness and quality of execution.
Visible hallmarks are preserved, though partially difficult to interpret due to size and wear.
