Scale H0 Märklin ICE speed train motor car BR 401 069-0 from set 2986, controlled both analog and digital via Delta electronics, in very good condition, without original packaging.
Description from the seller
I am offering from my private collection ICE high-speed trains:
The BR 401 069‑0 is a motor coach (leading coach) of the German ICE 1 high‑speed train – the very first ICE type that entered service in Germany
From starter set 2986, equipped with Delta electronics for analogue and digital operation
Has been inspected and functions fine, including switching and the lighting in the direction of travel.
Technically very good and fast. Cab, Dummy Motor‑ and Intermediate Coach very good to nearly new.
The offer consists of:
Typical characteristics of Märklin‑ICE motor coaches:
High‑quality drive in one motor coach
Front lighting (white/red) alternating with direction of travel
Length approx. 27–28 cm per motor coach
1. BR 401 069‑0 motor vehicle
Analog motor tested: runs
Riding qualities: Very good
Casing: surface very good, inscription almost new
2. Intermediate coach 802 067‑9 (optionally can be equipped with lighting and passengers)
Type: Bpmz 802 (2nd class open coach)
Position in the train set: between the two leading coaches
Interior: open seating area, 2+2 arrangement
Length: approx. 26.4 m (in the real equipment)
Era: V (modern ICE service)
Function: standard 2nd class capacity in ICE 1 configuration
Casing: surface and lettering almost new, inner panel gray missing, but not visible in the full train arrangement.
3. Drive side (dummy) 401 569‑9
401 5xx‑x → Non‑powered motor coach (dummy)
Therefore 401 569‑9 is the control cab / leading coach without traction motors.
Features of the 401 569‑9
Type: ICE 1 leading coach (non‑powered)
Function: control cab + aerodynamic nose
No traction: no motor, no drive
Part of the train set: forms the “rear” side of the ICE 1
Appearance: identical to the powered cab, but internally arranged differently
See photos: form part of my offer.
