Neogothic metal table lamp in burnt bronze finish, Gothic Revival style lamp from mid 20th century Italy, measuring 42 cm high, 11 cm wide, 11 cm deep, in good condition with subtle signs of age and an electrical system present but to be rewired.
Description from the seller
Neogothic table lamp in dark-bronzed metal – candlestick style – mid-20th century
Description
Elegant metal table lamp with a dark-bronze finish, conceived in the Gothic Revival style and inspired by traditional ecclesiastical candlesticks. The structure features a slender, architectural profile, enriched with geometric mouldings, contoured details, and a characteristic trilobed base that evokes the neo-medieval taste that spread during the twentieth century.
The top is completed by a candle-style lamp holder with a wax-drip effect, a typical element of decorative lamps produced between the 1940s and 1960s. The piece retains a pleasant patina of age that enhances the dramatic character of the object.
Perfect as an atmospheric interior lamp for classical spaces, studies, libraries, eclectic environments, or interiors in the dark academia and neo-Gothic styles.
