Description from the seller

Main features: Material composition: A cylindrical pillar body made of light gray or white veined marble, complemented by a dark bronze base and collar. Glass shade: On top is a goblet-shaped, clear glass shade (hurricane globe) with a dark metal rim on top. Style: It carries the hallmarks of neoclassical and traditional elegance, which looks great on sideboards, mantelpieces or as a centerpiece for festive dining tables. The columnar design and square, stepped base are also characteristic of the British Regency and Neoclassical styles. In the English homes of the upper classes and gentry in the 18th and 19th centuries, such a glass-covered hurricane lamp was a basic item of use, protecting the flame in drafty corridors. They are in very good condition, the glasses can be removed, so they are easy to keep clean.
