Uranium glass carafe, mid-20th century.
Beautiful uranium glass (ouraline) carafe with the characteristic yellow-green tint. Elegant tall shape with applied handle and slightly wavy base. It shows a magnificent intense green fluorescence under UV light. Typical piece from 1950s-1960s production.
Good overall condition with some signs of age-related use and a manufacturing scratch. No mark. Weight 250 g. Dimensions: height 22 cm, width 9 cm.
