Description from the seller

This magnificent pair of bronze braziers is a masterpiece inspired by classical art, a tribute to refinement and to the symbolism of ancient Pompeii. The structures are supported by three dancing fauns, woodland deities linked to fertility and the natural world, depicted with extraordinary attention to detail and a graceful posture that evokes movement and lightness. The slender legs, fused with elegant botanical motifs, transform harmoniously into stable bases, while the sculpted bodies with well-defined musculature enhance the mythological charm of these figures. The fauns gracefully support a large cup decorated with a pierced border, whose design recalls the refined ceremonial objects of the Roman era. Inspired by Pompeian artifacts, with clear allusions to classical art and Roman mythology, the mythological fauns, representing fertility, festivity and a connection with nature. Originally used to hold burning embers, these braziers are perfect today as luxury decorative elements, capable of enriching any setting with their ancient charm.

Seller's Story

The Mineral Art Gallery offers minerals, fossils, shells and natural elements. Born in Italy in 2017, today she collaborates with international galleries and collectors, she is a direct importer of large minerals and naturalistic collectible elements; deals with the processing to insert them inside the living space. A section of the gallery was dedicated to the Wunderkammer, "chamber of wonders or cabinet of curiosities" in which Mirabilia elements are presented: naturalia and italiania, a union between "the present is the past". All lots are shipped via DHL Express and Fercam couriers, with insured parcel and tracking.
