Set of 12 wine glasses, made in Italy. Lead crystal, colorless, thick, mouth-blown, faceted, polished, and cut. This piece rests on an octagonal base: instead of a standard round, geometric, thick, heavy, and faceted base. Stem (baluster style) with a stepped structural ring (or knob), giving the glass a solid grip, a truncated conical dome with a vertical octagonal flat cut, with the lower diamonded cross that creates a prism effect, catching light with broad movements. Unknown producer. Condition: Discontinued. About: 1960. Probably produced by the historic glassworks MARIOCIONI.
