Set of 12 liqueur glasses, produced in Italy. Thick, colorless lead crystal glass, mouth-blown, smoothed, cut. This piece rests on an octagonal base: instead of a standard round base, a thick, heavy, faceted geometric base. Stem (baluster style) with a stepped structural ring (or knop) that provides a good grip, a truncated conical dome with a vertical octagonal flat-cut, with the lower diamond-cut in a cross that creates a prism effect, catching light with wide movements. Manufacturer unknown. Status: Discontinued. Circa: 1960. Likely produced by the historic MARIOCIONI crystal.
