Very beautiful and large hand-painted decorative plate by Tichelaar Makkum, executed in rich polychrome decoration with floral motifs and classic ornamentation. The plate is a fine example of traditional Frisian earthenware from the post-war period.

The back is marked with the shield mark “Makkum,” a model/decor number (BO 34) and a painter’s monogram, indicating full hand painting.

A substantial and decorative wall plate of high quality, suitable for the collector or as a striking interior piece.
