Description from the seller
This original 2012 edition takes us into Belgium from the 1970s to the 1980s through a strange and familiar gaze. From the early black-and-white photographs to the revelation of color, this book explores the very particular, almost expressionist universe of the Belgian photographer.
In a very personal text, accompanying his photographs, Harry Gruyaert comments on his relationship with Belgium. While an essay by the Belgian writer Dimitri Verlhust truly makes us experience these photographs from within.
