Introduced in 1954 by the highly respected German optics house Voigtländer, the Vito B is a legendary 35mm fixed-lens viewfinder camera celebrated for its exceptionally compact design and jewel-like mechanical construction. Engineered with a remarkably short top plate and rounded, ergonomic body corners, the camera sits comfortably in the hand while offering a reassuringly heavy, solid build quality. A signature safety feature of the Vito B system is that the shutter mechanism will only cock when film is loaded and moving across the internal sprocket wheel, preventing accidental double exposures.
