Océanic - Pirate Tube radio

This compact and rather rare, typically French mid-size radio has been completely restored and is ready for daily listening enjoyment.
The heavily damaged plastic cabinet was repaired and repainted in the original color; light traces of damage remain visible up close.
Due to irreparable defects in the original AM section, the original 3-watt amplifier section was retained and supplemented with:
- A solid-state tuner with very good reception on FM via a wire antenna (87-108 MHz) and moderate to good reception on medium wave via built-in ferrite antenna;
- A Bluetooth receiver (not HiFi);
- An input for external loudspeakers with banana plugs (470 kΩ);
- An input for external loudspeakers with a 3.5 mm jack (56 kΩ).
There is a connection for an external speaker (5-8 Ω) with banana plugs.
Front and dial illumination with LED strips 6V DC.
Tubes: ECL82 (new) - 6E1 (new, “magic eye”, connected as VU meter) - EZ80 - ECH81 (tested +90%).
