Description from the seller

Victorian-era clock bearing the date 1804 handwritten on it. There is an unreadable signature, visible in the photo. The mechanism bears the numbers 64 and 18979. On the winding part, the inscription t79 is shown. Probably made by Lewis Foreman Day. The condition of the mechanism is excellent, and the clock case is also in good overall condition, never having been restored or having any of its small parts replaced. It works perfectly and is currently in use. The chimes are bright and clear.
