Gersyl - Desk lamp - Brass

This Belgian Art Deco table lamp is manufactured by the Belgian silver and metal foundry Gersyl from the 1930s. The lamp features a sleek, mushroom-shaped shade with stepped, concentric rings. The shade rests on a striking fluted, column-like stem that transitions into a wide, stable round base. Fully made of high-quality, polished brass. In good working order with an E27 socket, cord with switch. On one side the brass has a dent and there is oxidation where the varnish has worn away. There is some lacquer damage on the inside of the lampshade. The lot will be shipped insured.
