Tirschenreuth - Table service (126) - Porcelain

Splendid, imposing and very rare complete table service consisting of a total of no less than 124 pieces.

Made in authentic German hard porcelain (Hartporzellan) by the famous Porzellanfabrik Tirschenreuth (Hutschenreuther Group), Bavaria.
The mark impressed on the bottom (Crowned shield and letters P.T.) precisely dates the set to the period between 1930 and 1953. The pattern is the sought-after "Pattern 2448", characterized by a bright white ground, classic floral motifs and rich gilt finishes in 24-carat gold.

EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION: All 126 pieces are in perfect preserved condition. They show no chippings, hairlines, cracks or defects. The gilding and the gold profiles are shiny, vivid and totally intact, with no signs of wear or washing discoloration. The service has been kept with extreme care and used very little.
